You have to make it so easy and risk free for customers to start a trading relationship with you so once they are over that initial hurdle, it is far easier to get them coming back for more.
I am sure you have seen all the deals around where you can pay nothing for 14 days, or try before you buy and if you don’t like the products you can return them without any obligation. Well the reason there are so many of this type of irresistible offers is because quite simply they work!
The number of people who bother to return products is negligible, especially if your product or service is of a high quality.
Take a look at your client list if you are an established business and look for trends where you have had best success. You may well discover that you are winning business in a certain sector, but actually you hardly make any money.
If this is the case, then get out of this market!
Look for areas in your business where you make the most money with both the products and services you sell as well as the customers you provide who are willing to pay a fair price for the value you provide.
