For some two decades now, Print Republic has continually shown what is possible with print. We have a long history of catering for the varied print needs of small to medium sized businesses.
Whether they have turned to us for direct mail, business cards, letterheads, stationery, leaflets, flyers or posters, they have long trusted Print Republic to provide them with a design and printing service that is cost-effective and that allows them to extract the maximum value from a marketing campaign.
Who am I?
I am Stefan Boyle, an Internet printing entrepreneur who was moved to found Print Republic as a result of so many peoples’ dissatisfaction about the quality of the business cards that they ordered online.
In response, I was determined to provide a service that enabled the owners of small to medium sized businesses to better grow their sales and profits, using offline marketing to complement and dovetail with, rather than replace, their online marketing.
A significant printing heritage
Of course, the printing industry has changed significantly since I first began working for my own family’s firm of Watford printers when I was still at school.
My Dad had undergone 7 years of training in letterpress printing prior to starting his business in a garage at home with some letterpress printing equipment. Before too long, he had quit his job and complemented this machinery with litho printing equipment.
The rest, as they say, is history!
Watford has certainly had its fair share of printing companies down the years, although alas, the numbers have dropped considerably amid changes in the industry – leaving Print Republic as one of the few such firms remaining in the town.
Print Republic today
Having been based for some time in Buckinghamshire, Print Republic has now returned to Watford, serving the broadest range of local and regional small to medium sized companies with printing services that are very much in tune with contemporary business requirements and objectives.
The Internet may have had a drastic impact on how we live our lives, leading to the loss of many traditional printing firms in Watford and across the country.
However, it has most certainly not rendered physical printed media irrelevant.
